It’s an updated version of the classic story
The Day of the Jackal is as good as it gets. The series follows the story of an elite sniper-assassin (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the name The Jackal.
He’s a highly trained assassin who is also a master of disguise
He is offered a job that pays enough to retire, but the job is risky, especially when he is followed by a ruthless British intelligence officer, Bianca (Lashana Lynch). She pursues him across Europe as he tries to complete his mission.
There are many casualties along the way as the two come face to face
Their personal lives begin to intersect with their work as they begin to realize that other forces are pulling the strings. Although some parts were cut to make it 10 episodes, the series has plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained.
