Description

Theme1: I’ve been looking at mushrooms as inspiration and using them as a starting point to create abstract designs. I’ve taken the process of the mushroom decaying and breaking up into my work, by cutting and collaging until my patterns are unrecognizable from their original source similar to a decayed mushroom.
Theme2: Inspired by flower gardens in bloom, I’ve been experimenting with bold brush marks and contrasting yet complimenting colours to create energetic floral prints , that represent those summer days.
