To create new textures that are influenced by microcosms and nature was a real challenge to me. I put everything into the perspective of a bird, from where the human life seems so small and yet constantly in movement.

The “Viewpoint” pattern represents villages and towns with agricultural areas that one could see from the far. It was realized with pearls, brushes, and digital rework.

Secondly, the” Squares” artwork represents the vivid area of a meeting point of strangers in a vibrant, almost psychedelic context that wonders what is reality and answers with a claim that it’s a state of a common experience. The pressure and the stress created by the strong use of red opens up a discourse on the power of humans over nature, this way, I expose nature with the lack of nature.

The “Supermarkets” pattern brings a seemingly dynamic place where the colors are very strong, yet it carries a disillusioned melancholy with the neon-like vibes. Nature is being overthrown and exhausted by our human efforts.

In connection with this, the “Ocean” pattern represents the water where little elements deriving from human livings are being thrown to the waves. Spoiled oil gives the opposition of clearness; nature is recreated and mixed with human waste. Creating the work, upcycling played a role in using buttons, keyholes, and lego elements.

Whereas, the optimistic theme gave me an opportunity to be delightful and to merge uncertain elements into a vivid play. Abstraction and figurativeness both play a role to bring us into a place of hope and fun. The point I was interested in was to show the diversity of joy: blooming flowers, bold colors, while little weightless creatures are whooshing over the scene.

The graphics I was using brought the past alive in its two-dimensionality. In order to create a new form of the flower, sometimes I “cut” the flowers themselves into small parts: sepals, calyx, carpels, stamens, and petals.

Finally, to give a twist to it – I created flying humans as representing the bees. Here is the philosophy of this optimistic floral pattern series: Work, go further, collect the honey, the golden, work to create the sweetness to this world.
