A fascinating story, lots of details and one of the best opening sequences ever
One of my favorite parts of the series is the emotions that normal people show, forcing Dexter to imitate them. It’s a good laugh when Dexter’s fake emotions become real and he’s scared to death, just like in his relationship with his «girlfriend» Rita, a mother of two and the victim of his abusive ex-boyfriend. I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s role as Dexter’s sister Debra, she adds a nice touch of color to the series without falling into clichés.
